As a well-deserved reward for his outstanding achievement, Ilechukwu received a sum of N1 million. The award was presented to him by NPFL Chairman, Gbenga Elegbeleye, during the league board's annual general meeting on Tuesday.

The team will now compete in the prestigious CAF Champions League next season, marking a significant milestone in their history. Their first challenge will be against US Zilimadjou of Comoros in the preliminary round of the competition, scheduled for next month.
