Manchester United have announced that Mason Greenwood has permanently departed the club to join Marseille.
The 22-year-old spent the previous season on loan at Getafe in Spain, and has now made a permanent switch to the Ligue 1 side.
Greenwood leaves United after making a total of 129 appearances and scoring 35 goals for the club. In a brief statement, the club wished him "all the best in his future career."
The transfer is reportedly worth a fixed fee of €26 million, with an additional €5 million in add-ons and a 50% sell-on clause for United.
Greenwood will don the number 10 shirt for Marseille as he begins his new chapter in France.
The young attacker will look to make a significant impact in Ligue 1 and continue his development as a player. United fans will likely keep an eye on his progress, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
