Nigerian youngster Ebenezer Akinsanmiro is on the verge of completing a loan move to Serie A club Sampdoria from Inter Milan. As part of the deal, Sampdoria will have the option to sign Akinsanmiro permanently next summer. However, Inter Milan has included a buy-back clause, giving them the opportunity to re-sign the 19-year-old if they choose to do so.
Akinsanmiro joined Inter Milan in 2023 from Remo Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). He made his first-team debut on February 25, 2024, coming on as a substitute in a 4-0 league win over Lecce. Despite his promising start, Akinsanmiro is yet to establish himself as a regular starter for Inter Milan.
The loan move to Sampdoria presents an excellent opportunity for Akinsanmiro to gain more playing experience and develop his skills. With regular playing time, he can continue to grow and mature as a player, potentially becoming a key asset for both Sampdoria and the Nigerian national team in the future.
