Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has finally joined his new team, Galatasaray, for his first training session. This comes after a whirlwind few days, where he completed his transfer, flew to Nigeria for international duty, and made two substitute appearances for the Super Eagles in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
International Duty
During his time with the Super Eagles, Osimhen made a notable impact, scoring a goal against Benin Republic in a 3-0 win. However, he was unable to replicate this form in the subsequent match against Rwanda, where the team was held to a 0-0 draw.
Back to Club Duty
Now, Osimhen has returned to Galatasaray and was pictured taking part in warm-ups and training drills with his new teammates. As the Turkish champions prepare to host Rizespor this Saturday, it remains to be seen whether Osimhen will feature in the match. Will he make his debut and hit the ground running, or will he be eased into the team? Only time will tell.
