ABS FC head coach, Sani Sardauna, has expressed satisfaction with the 2024-25 Nigeria National League (NNL) draw, describing it as fair. The Saraki Boys have been placed in Southern Conference Group A alongside nine other teams.
Group A rivals include Sporting Lagos, Solution FC, First Bank FC, Kun Khalifa FC, Abakaliki FC, Madiba FC, Godswill Akpabio FC, Osun United, and Rovers FC. Despite the presence of experienced teams, Sardauna remains optimistic.
The coach reiterated ABS FC's primary objective: securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by season's end. "I have been given a mandate to get the club back to the elite division," he emphasized.
To achieve this goal, Sardauna plans to fine-tune his team's preparations. "We will give finishing touches to our preparations for the new season because we want to start the season positively," he stated.
ABS FC kicks off their campaign against Kun Khalifa FC on November 30. With a strong start crucial, Sardauna's squad will aim to make a statement in their opening fixture.
The 2024-25 NNL season commences on Saturday, November 30, and ABS FC is poised to make a push for promotion.
