Petit believes that Manchester United players, including Fernandes, need to take responsibility for the team's struggles instead of deflecting blame onto manager Erik ten Hag. Speaking to Manchester Evening News, Petit stated, "Players are not doing enough at the club... They should not hide behind the manager, take responsibility on the pitch."
