Super Eagles' AFCON 2025 Qualifier Dates Announced


The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the schedules for Nigeria's Super Eagles' final two qualifying matches for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Crunch Time: Benin Republic and Rwanda Matches

The Super Eagles will first face Benin Republic's Cheetahs at Abidjan's Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on November 14, with kickoff at 8 pm local time. This matchday five encounter is crucial for Nigeria's qualification hopes.

Home Advantage Against Rwanda

The team will then return to Nigeria to host Rwanda's Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on November 18.

On the Brink of Qualification

Augustine Eguavoen's side currently tops Group D with 10 points from four games. A draw against Benin Republic will secure their spot in AFCON 2025, marking a triumphant return to the continental stage.
