Tony Cascarino Warns Arsenal: Saliba May Leave for Real Madrid Without Success

Former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino believes Arsenal's William Saliba may be lured away to Real Madrid unless the Gunners achieve significant success.

Cascarino stressed that playing for a top-tier club like Real Madrid is a tantalizing prospect for any footballer. "Every footballer would want to play for a big club like Real Madrid," he told talkSPORT.

Saliba's recent performances have reached the level expected of a Real Madrid player, Cascarino noted. However, to retain him, Arsenal must demonstrate their ability to compete at the highest level.

"Arsenal have to achieve that because Saliba is playing to the level of being a Real Madrid player, but he's got to be convinced that Arsenal are going to be a successful and winning team," Cascarino emphasized.

He highlighted the importance of Champions League success, saying, "They need to be challenging to win the Champions League because that's what Real Madrid do so often."

Cascarino's comments serve as a warning to Arsenal: without tangible success, they risk losing Saliba to the allure of Real Madrid's winning tradition.
